Joseph Edward Chenowith, 59, of Benson, Ariz., formerly of Millers, died Monday, Sept. 30, 2013.

Born April 26, 1954, in Hanover, Pa., he was the son of Gloria Jones Chenowith, of Millers, and the late Charles J. Chenowith.

He was a heavy equipment operator and cross-country truck driver. He was the owner of Joe's Wrecker and Repair in Benson. He enjoyed riding his Harley, customizing old hot rods and spending time with family.

Surviving, in addition to his mother, are brothers Charles Chenowith and wife Mary, Tom Chenowith and wife Linda, and Luke Chenowith and wife Susan; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a brother, Wilbur Chenowith.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service, 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 4300 Church Road, Hampstead.

Memorial contributions may be sent to St. Peter's Cemetery Fund, 4300 Church Road, Hampstead, MD 21074.

Local arrangements are by Eckhardt Funeral Chapel in Manchester.
