Joseph August Cooper, Jr.

Joseph August Cooper, Jr., 58, of Manchester, MD, passed away suddenly on September 21, 2024, at his home.  Born on March 20, 1966, in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of Alice Davis Barvir of Colorado and the late Joseph August Cooper, Sr. He was the beloved husband of 13 years to Karen Claire Coumont Cooper.

Joseph was the owner and operator of Cooper's Construction. He enjoyed attending car races and shows.  He loved playing the guitar with his son, Trace, and spending time with his family.

Surviving him in addition to his wife and mother are children: Joseph Cooper III and wife Christina of Finksburg, MD, Trace Cooper of Manchester, and grandchildren: Brantley Cooper and Adam Stroud. He is also survived by his sister: Mary Eubank and husband Bob of Reisterstown, MD.

The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, September 25, from 5-8 pm, at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD, where a funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 26, at 1 pm.

Interment to follow in New Lutheran Cemetery, Manchester, MD.
