Joseph August Cooper, Sr.

Joseph August Cooper, Sr., 81, of Manchester, MD, passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at Pleasant View Healthcare Center in Mount Airy, MD.  Born on February 14, 1943, in Elkridge, MD, he was the son of the late John Cooper and Mary Stivers Cooper.

Years ago, Joseph worked in the trucking industry.  He enjoyed car and horse racing.

Surviving him are children: Joseph Cooper, Jr. and wife Karen of Manchester, MD, and Mary Eubank and husband Bob of Reisterstown, MD, grandchildren: Joseph III, Trace, Chelsea, Kristi, and 7 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 30, at 11 am, in Glen Haven Memorial Park, 7231 Ritchie Hwy, Glen Burnie, MD 21061.
