Joseph “Joe” Gordon Hall, Jr.

Joseph "Joe" Gordon Hall, Jr., 72, of Manchester, MD, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster, MD. Born on December 24, 1947, he was the son of the late Joseph Gordon, Sr. and Elizabeth Schwall Hall. He was the beloved husband of 38 years to Harriet Edna Yeakle Hall.

Years ago, Joseph worked for the Social Security Administration as an ERT. He was a member of the SSA Choir, the Knights of Columbus, and a member of St. Bartholomew's Catholic Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family and watching sports. He was a great father and Pop Pop and will be missed by all.

Surviving him in addition to his wife are children: Henry Joseph Hall of Manchester, MD, and Catherine Elizabeth Hall-Garrett of Glen Rock, PA, grandchildren: Eileen, Abigail, Matthew, and Scottie, siblings: Theresa Kell of Seven Valleys, PA, Marie McWilliams of Catonsville, MD, Sharon Hall of Catonsville, MD, Regina Hall of Woodstock, MD, Chriss Hall of Baltimore, MD, and Kathleen Harris, of Baltimore, MD.

Joe is predeceased by his brother: John Hall.

Family will receive visitors on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 from 5-7 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD 21102. A Requiem Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 11 AM at St. Bartholomew's Catholic Church, 2930 Hanover Pike, Manchester, MD 21102. Interment to follow.
