Joseph Bernard Logsdon, Jr.

Joseph Bernard Logsdon, Jr., 79, of Hampstead, MD, passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2019, at his home after a long battle with cancer. Born on May 7, 1939, in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Joseph Bernard and Loretta Constance Raum Logsdon. He was the loving husband of Sandra Louise Logsdon (née Altland).

Joseph was the owner and operator of an arcade business. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard. He loved spending time with family. Joseph enjoyed traveling, camping, and going on cruises with his wife. In their travels, they have visited all fifty states and many other countries. Joe was also a train enthusiast and loved riding trains and working on his large model train layout.

Surviving in addition to his wife are 4 children, 3 stepchildren, 1 sister, his stepmother, and numerous other family members.

The family will receive visitors on Thursday, January 10, from 9:30-11 am at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD 21102, where a funeral service will begin at 11 am. Interment to follow in Marburg Memorial Gardens, Hanover, PA.
