Joseph Sindall Price

Joseph Sindall Price, 80, of Reisterstown, MD, passed away on Monday, December 27, 2021, at Northwest Hospital in Randallstown, MD. Born on September 12, 1941, in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late James Raymond Price, Sr. and Jeanette Louise Falter Price. He was the beloved husband of 31 years to Marilyn Erickson Price.

Joseph worked as a detective for the Baltimore County Police Department. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy.  Joseph enjoyed riding motorcycles all over the country, fishing and tying his own flies, and being a member of Cowboy Action Shooting. He was an avid fisherman, artist, and poet. Joseph was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Surviving him in addition to his wife are sons: Steven Price and wife Kathy and Eric Price and wife Leslie, stepchildren: Lynn Erickson Blevins and husband Kenneth and Sheila Beth Erickson and Floyd, grandchildren: Michael, Brandon, Samantha, Brittany, Ashlyn, Megan, Bryan, Lindsey, and Cole, and a great-granddaughter: Maliyah.

He was predeceased by a stepson: Michael Lee Erickson, Sr., and siblings: Bill, Jim, and Audrey.

The family will receive visitors on Sunday, January 2, from 5-7 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, MD 21117. A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 3, at 11 am at Trinity Lutheran Church, 833 Deer Park Road, Westminster, MD 21157.

Interment to follow in Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery.
