Joseph Edward Ryan, 36, of Pikesville, MD, passed away on June 23, 2018, at his home. Born on June 21, 1982, in Anne Arundel County, MD, he was the son of John Patrick Ryan, Sr., and Grace Rebecca Gordon Ryan.

Joseph worked as a carpenter.

He is survived by his daughter: Jada Wick of South Carolina, parents, siblings: John Patrick Ryan, Jr. and wife Dorothy of Glen Burnie, MD, and Jacqueline Dunn and husband Andy of New Windsor, MD, nephews: Michael, Sam, and Austin, and grandmother: Betty Gordon of Owings Mills, MD.

He is predeceased by his grandfather: Sydnor Gordon.

The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, June 27, from 7-9 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, MD 21117, where a funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 28, at 10 am. Interment to follow in Lake View Memorial Park, Sykesville, MD.
