Joseph Wilson Utz, 75, of Manchester formerly of Hampstead died Wednesday December 14, 2011 at the Longview Nursing Home in Manchester.
Born February 10, 1936 in Hampstead, he was son of the late Helen Mae Utz.
Years ago, he retired from Master Power where he worked in maintenance. He enjoyed walking around the town of Hampstead. He attended Greenmount United Methodist Church, Bethel United Church, and Church of the Nazarene.
He is survived by friends Pauline and John Lang and Barbara and Bruce Thomas all of Hampstead.
The friends may call 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester where a funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Monday with the Rev. John W. Street and Rev. Dr. Richard Wilson.
Interment will be in Greenmount Church Cemetery, Greenmount.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Carroll Hospice, 292 Stoner Avenue, Westminster, MD 21157.
