Joseph John Widener age 76 of Hampstead, MD died Monday Dec. 22, 2014 at the Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster.
Born March 5, 1938 in Glade Springs, Virginia he was the son of the late Joseph Gale and Orpha Viola Widener. He was the husband of the late Barbara June Widener who died in 1995.
He was a retired printer for Monarch Services in Baltimore, MD. He was a member of Hampstead Baptist Church and the Litho Club of Baltimore. He enjoyed gardening, computers, cars, eating out and Bluegrass music.
Surviving are his daughters, Gail Orndorff and husband Rick of Gettysburg, PA, and Diana Mosley and husband Jay of Hampstead, MD. Grandchildren, Tammy, Jason, Justin, Joey, Jacob and Jeremy. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by 4 brothers.
The family will receive friends on Friday Dec. 26, 2014 from 10:00am until 12:00pm. at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD where a funeral service will be held at 12:00pm. with the Rev. Chris Brammer officiating.
Interment will be in Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens, Timonium, MD.
