Josephine W. Buckler, 85, of Hampstead, died Saturday February 18, 2017, at Long View Health Care in Manchester. Born October 14, 1931, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Josephine Fertita Wolff. She was the wife of the late John H. Buckler. Mrs. Buckler obtained her Registered Nurse degree at Mercy Hospital and worked in the nursing field for forty years. She kept her membership in the Nursing Association at Mercy along with staying an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 200.
Surviving are her two sons and daughters-in-law Howard and Cynthia Buckler of Richmond, VA., Robert and Larena Buckler of Westminster, MD.; grandchildren and their spouses Stefanie and Philip Goldsmith, Matthew and Katie Buckler, Timothy and Tedra Buckler, Kristopher Buckler, and Kevin Buckler; great grandson Nathan Goldsmith; sisters Eleanor Bollinger of Reisterstown, MD. and Marion Anderson of Sykesville, MD.; her brother Leo and Fana Wolff. She was predeceased by her son Thomas Buckler, her great grandson Lucas Goldsmith, and her brothers John and James Wolff.
Family will receive friends at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, PA. 11605 Reisterstown Rd. Owings Mills, MD. on Thursday February 23, 2017 from 4-7PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 65 Sacred Heart Lane, Glyndon, MD. on Friday February 24, 2017 at 11:30AM with interment in Lakeview Memorial Park, Sykesville, MD.
