Joyce Ann Murray

Joyce Ann Murray, 79, of Manchester, MD, passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2022, at BridgingLife Dove House in Westminster, MD. Born on December 31, 1942, in Hereford, MD, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Helen Bowman Rill. She was the beloved wife of William Louis Murray.

Joyce worked at Walmart where she stocked shelves. She was a longtime member of the Manchester Volunteer Fire Department.

Surviving her in addition to her husband are children: Heidi Christina Riggio of Manchester, MD, and Timothy Murray of Linthicum, MD, granddaughter: Katelyn Riggio, siblings: Gene "Tater" Rill of Hampstead, MD, and Nora Arentz of Hanover, PA, sister-in-law: Louise Boniol and husband Bill of Florida, brothers-in-law: Letcher Murray and wife Sue of Manchester, MD, and Calvin Murray and wife Carol of Florida, and nephew: Perry Murray and wife Cathy of Manchester, MD.

She was predeceased by siblings: Robert Rill, Clarence Rill, Dorothy Wilhelm, Dennis Rill, and Roger Rill.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
