Judith "Judy" Ann Schauf, 80, of Lineboro, MD, passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster, MD.  Born on February 26, 1945, in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of the late James Dudley Eads and Veada Case Eads.  She was the beloved wife of the late Edward Alexander Schauf.

Judy worked as a civilian nurse with the Department of the Air Force.  She enjoyed reading and watching true crime shows. She was always willing to lend a helping hand where she could.

Surviving her are children: Ryan Schauf and wife Angela of Lineboro, MD, Melanie Brewer and husband Keith of Germany, grandchildren: Sandor, Shana, Kieran, Eric, Austin, Andrea, and Amy.

Judy was predeceased by her siblings: Dudley Eads and Barbara Mathews.

The family will receive visitors on Monday, September 1, from 5-7 pm, at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD, with a funeral service to begin at 7 pm.

A graveside service will take place in Lakemont Memorial Gardens, 900 West Central Avenue, Davidsonville, MD, on Tuesday, September 2, at 1 pm.

If desired, donations may be offered to the Carroll County Humane Society, 2517 Littlestown Pike, Westminster, MD 21158.
