Judith "Judy" Ann Leese

Judith “Judy” Ann Leese, 77, of Manchester, MD, passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at Golden Crest Assisted Living in Hampstead, while surrounded by her family. Born on July 19, 1949, in Baltimore County, MD, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Marvel and Irene (Mallone) Marvel. She was the beloved wife of 49 years to Lamar George Leese, Jr.

Judy worked as a data entry specialist for The Coca-Cola Company for 10 ½ years and then went on to work for the State of Maryland for 9 years until retirement. She loved reading, especially romance novels, and liked word-finds. Traveling with her husband was one of her favorite memories. Judy loved spending time with her family and making memories together.

Surviving her in addition to her husband is her son: David “Brian” Hadaway and wife Andrea of Mississippi, grandsons: Dyllon and Cameron, and sister: Joyce Bayer.

A private burial will take place in New Lutheran Cemetery, Manchester, MD.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Judy’s name may be offered to the “Marine Toys for Tots Foundation,” Gift Processing Administrator, 18251 Quantico Gateway Drive, Triangle, VA 22172, or to “BridgingLife Dove House,” 292 Stoner Avenue, Westminster, MD.
