Karen Irene Macleod, age 51 of Manchester, Md died Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at Sinai Hospital Hospice Care.
Born June 12, 1961 in Baltimore, Md she was the daughter of the late Alexander Joseph and JoAnn Cecelia Pallasch Kellar.
She was the wife of James Warren Macleod.
She was a Registered Nurse and had worked for University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center. She was a member of St. Bartholomew's Catholic Church in Manchester, Md and was a High Ridge 4H Club Leader.
Surviving ,in addition to her husband, are children: Alex Macleod and wife, Katy, of Westminster, Md;Tyler, Suzannah and Colton Macleod ,all of Manchester, Md; sister: MaryAnn Bradshaw of Millers, Md; and brothers: Raymond Kellar of BelAir, Md and Kevin Kellar of Glyndon, Md. She was also survived by numerous other family and friends.
The family will receive friends 7-9 pm Saturday, and 3-5 and 7-9 pm Sunday at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel P.A. 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, Md with a Requiem Mass celebrated 11:00 am Monday at St. Bartholomew's Roman Catholic Church, 2930 Hanover Pike, Manchester, Md with her pastor the Rev. Fr. Michael Roach as celebrant.
Interment will be in New Lutheran Cemetery, Manchester, Md.
If desired donations may be made to the Karen Macleod Memorial College Fund to benefit Suzannah and Colton Macleod at P.N.C. Bank, 2325 Hanover Pike, Hampstead, Md 21074.
