Katherine Viola Woodland

Katherine Viola Woodland, age 82 of Lansdowne, MD, died Friday Dec. 4, 2015 at the Longview Healthcare Center in Manchester, MD.
Born Jan. 3, 1933 in Baltimore she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Martha G. Over Gunther. She was the wife of the late Frederick Edward Woodland.
Years ago she was cup inspector for Solo Cup Co. She enjoyed playing bingo and watching the Ravens and Orioles.
Surviving are her children, Katherine V. Hamilton of New Freedom, PA and Frederick E. Woodland, Jr. of Manchester. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by 2 brothers.
Funeral services will be held at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A. 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD on Wednesday Dec. 9, 2015 at 9:30am.
Interment will be in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery, Owings Mills, MD.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 3-5 and 7-9pm. at the funeral chapel.
