Kathleen Ann Heiss

Kathleen Ann Heiss, 88 of Upperco, MD passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at WellSpan York Hospital in York, Pennsylvania.  Born on January 27, 1936, in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late William A. Fowble, Jr. and Mary Virginia Hale Fowble.  She was the wife of 43 and a half years to the late Raymond Daniel Heiss, Jr., who passed away in 1999.

Kathleen and her husband were the owners of greenhouses in Upperco.  She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church, in Hampstead, MD. She was a part of the Tai Chi class at the North Carroll Senior Center. She enjoyed boating, eating at Red Lobster and spending time with family.

She is survived by her family, Cindy Freet and husband Jack of Hanover, PA; Matt and Melissa Ross and their children Maddy and Aiden of New Oxford, PA; half-brother, William A. Fowble, III of Upperco, MD and other extended family and friends.

The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, from 9:30am until the time of service at 11:00am at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD 21102.

Interment to follow in Hampstead Cemetery, Hampstead, MD.
