Kathryn Marie Birckhead

Kathryn Marie Birckhead, 87, of Reisterstown, MD, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2019, at FutureCare Cherrywood in Reisterstown, MD. Born on February 3, 1932, in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late James George III, and Edith Davis Disney. She was the loving wife of the late Stephen James Birckhead, Sr, and they were married for 59 years.

Kathryn was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Surviving her are children: Deborah Birckhead-Grove and husband Kirby A. Grove, Stephen James Birckhead, Jr., and wife Kathy, Nancy Carol Allen, Robert L. Birckhead and wife Susan A., and Kathryn Dixon and husband Marty, 8 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a brother: James George Disney, IV.

The family will receive visitors on Sunday, April 28, from 3-5 and 7-9 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, MD 21117, where a funeral service will be held on Monday, April 29, at 8 am. Interment to follow in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery, Owings Mills, MD.
