Kelley Jeanne Bassin

Kelley Jeanne Bassin, 60, of Reisterstown, Maryland passed away on August 11, 2023 in her home. Born on January 27, 1963, Kelley was the beloved daughter of Kenneth and Audrey Schroth, and the devoted wife to the love of her life, Robert David Bassin, for 37 years.

Kelley was a dedicated wife and mother. She was selfless, non-judgmental, and extremely kind-hearted. She was a devoted Christian woman, who served the church community throughout her life, enjoyed Christian music, and loved reading her treasured Spiritual Devotional books.

Kelley enjoyed Scenic Road Trips and Beach Vacations with her family and absolutely loved the Community Pool and all the precious times with her Grandchildren. Cookouts and big family dinners were a delight, as Kelley was known for her nurturing spirit and joyous heart.

Surviving Kelley in addition to her husband Robert Bassin and father Kenneth Schroth, is her Daughter Kelsey Leanne Rollins, husband Qwontay Rollins, with grandchildren: Natalie, Cheyanne, Raelynn, and Kayleigh. Daughter Kirstyn Alexis Bassin and Son-in-Law Cory Piette.

Also surviving Kelley is her sister Dawn Miller, husband Mark, and their children Luke, Morgan, Paul and Daniel. Her Brother-in-Law Joseph Bassin, fiancé Dawn Skelton and their children Danika and Ciara. Her Sister-in-Law Tammy Lovill, husband Tom, and their children Kyle and MacKenzie.

Kelley was predeceased by her mother, Audrey Louise Schroth, sister Jill Leslie McKew and cousin Dana Lee Evans.

The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, MD 21117.

A celebration of Kelley's life will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2023, at 11 am at Crossroads Church, 1041 South Carroll Street, Hampstead, MD 21074.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Kelley's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
