Kelsey Rana Maxfield

Kelsey Rana Maxfield, 27, of Manchester, MD, passed away on Friday, June 12, 2026, surrounded by her family at her home. Born on July 7, 1998, in Silver Spring, MD, she was the daughter of Christopher Lee Maxfield and Dawn Rana Brant (Missy).

Kesley enjoyed reading, watching shows on the food network, and learning, especially about animals. She loved spending time with her family and her daughter, Claira. She had a love of all kinds of music, learning all types of trivia. She also had a serious knack for debating with people, good luck trying to win a debate against her. She was obsessed with Disney Movies and Horror Movies. She loved fiercely and was fiercely loved by all. She will be sorely missed by everyone.

Surviving her in addition to her parents is her daughter: Claira Rana Wermuth, brothers: Scott Brant, Christopher Maxfield, Mark Maxfield, nephew: Bradlee, niece: Myla.

The family will receive visitors on Friday, June 19, from 1-2 pm, at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD where a memorial service will begin at 2 pm.

Interment is private.
