Kenneth George Dunstan, Sr., 84, of Hampstead, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at the Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster. He was born June 26, 1931 in Pittston, PA, and he was the son of the late Nicholas Dunstan and Mabel Eggleston Dunstan. He was the husband of Joan Cox Dunstan, his wife of 40 years. He was retired from Baltimore County Department of Public works where he was a Bridge and Road Inspector. In his spare time, he enjoyed his family, the Crosswinds Church of God, and traveling.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his children Kenneth Dunstan, Jr. and companion Vicki Chadwell, Ruth Ann Carl and husband Steve, Brian Dunstan and wife Shannon, Carole Elfstrum and husband Douglas, Donna LeBlanc and husband Edward, Joanne Riemer and husband Ronald, and James Benton and wife Gloria; his sister-in-law Carole Dunstan; his grandchildren Shannan, Ashlea, Jessica, Julia, Carleigh, William, Corey, and Karl; and his great-grandchildren Tyler, Nolan, and Layla.

The family will receive friends 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, September 4, 2015 at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 5, 2015 with his pastor the Rev. David Sulcer officiating. Interment will be in the Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be sent to the Crosswinds Church, 640 Lucabaugh Mill Road, Westminster, MD 21157. Online condolences may be offered at www.eckhardtfuneralchapel.com.
