Kenneth Francis Ludwig

Kenneth Francis Ludwig, 82, of Manchester, MD, passed away suddenly on Monday, January 15, 2024, at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster, MD. Born on July 15, 1941, in Baltimore City, MD, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Catherine Ludwig.  He was the beloved husband of 38 years to Margaret "Penny" Ludwig.

Years ago, Kenneth retired from the printing industry. He also did carpentry work.  He enjoyed reading the newspaper, doing puzzles, and telling corny jokes. He was interested in the 1950's, including clothing and other items from that decade.

Surviving him in addition to his wife is stepson: Paul Fernandez and wife Lisa of Hampstead, and grandchildren: Luke Fernandez, Jacob Fernandez and wife Rebecca, and Hannah Bowers and husband Paul.

Kenneth was predeceased by his sister: Dorothy "Dottie" Ludwig.

The family will receive visitors on Saturday, January 20, from 10 am – 12 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD 21102, where a funeral service will begin at 12 pm.

Interment to follow in Trinity United Church of Christ Cemetery, Manchester, MD.
