Kevin David Sheckels

Kevin David Sheckels, 72, of Westminster, MD, passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2026, surrounded by family at his home. Born on November 26, 1953, in Baltimore City, MD, he was the son of the late Sewell Davis Sheckels and Marion Clara Spicer Sheckels. He was the beloved husband of 29 years to Shannon Denise Sheckels.

Kevin retired in 2010 after working for many years for the NSA. He enjoyed watching the Orioles and Ravens.

Surviving him in addition to his wife are children: Melanie Snyder and husband Brad of North Carolina, Tiffany Anderson and husband Shaun of Wisconsin, Tristan Sheckels of Westminster, MD, Cameron Sheckels of Westminster, MD, and grandchildren: Abigail, Emma, Kaylee, Colton, Ava, and Riley.

Kevin was predeceased by his siblings: Craig Sheckels, Sr. and Sandra Lynn Eddy and husband Marvin.

The family will receive visitors on Monday, April 6, from 5-8 pm, and on Tuesday, April 7, from 12-1 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD, where a funeral service will begin at 1 pm.

Interment to follow in St. Marks Church Cemetery, Snydersburg, MD.
