Kris Lee Abbott, 43, of Hampstead died Monday, September 9, 2013.
Born June 2, 1970, he was the son Russell Edgar "Bud or Pop" Abbott and Virginia Lee "Ginny" Grote Abbott of Upperco. He was the husband of Dawn Michelle Woollard Abbott.
He was a graduate of Franklin High School and worked as a Foreman for an underground utility company. He was an amateur radio operator and his call sign was KB3CJS.
Surviving in addition to his parents and wife are his children Jennifer Renae and Eric Lee Abbott; and his siblings Kirk R. Abbott of Reisterstown and Kimberly L. Abbott of Hampstead.
The family will receive friends 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester where a funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday.
Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Finksburg.
