Larry L. McWilliams, 58, of Hampstead died Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at Hanover Hospital in Hanover, PA.
Born September 20, 1950 in York, PA and was the son of Palmer McWilliams and June Strine Mc Williams of Seven Valleys, PA. He was the husband of Cathi Yvonne Stultz McWilliams, his wife of 12 years.
Mr. McWilliams was superintendent for Supervalue Grocery Wholesalers.
He was member of the Eagles Club in Littlestown, PA and the Sportsman Club in Fairfield, PA.
He enjoyed playing the Harmonica, golf, working in his garden, and traveling. In addition, he loved watching sports and was an avid Penn State football fan and NASCAR enthusiast.
He loved spending time with his family and friends especially his grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to his parents and wife are his sons and daughters in law Eric and Michelle McWilliams of Jacobus, PA and Eric and Robin Zile of Union Bridge; his daughter and son in law Stacey and John Jones of Westminster; his grandchildren Danielle, Theo, Hailey, and Jack; his sisters Kay Shue, Sue Craley, Lori Floyd, and Jen Sotdorus; also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 7:00 p.m. Monday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester with Rev. David R. Bare, Chaplain officiating . Interment will be private.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 3:00 p.m. until time of memorial service at the funeral chapel.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be offered to the American Cancer Society, 1393 Progress Way, Suite 908, Eldersburg, MD 21784.
