Laura Hurtt Fromm

Laura Hurtt Fromm, 96, of Manchester formerly of Woodlawn, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at Long View Health Care in Manchester. Born February 25, 1920 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Allen Hurtt and Elma Hurtt, nee Phillips. She was the wife of James William Fromm, who passed away in 1961. Years ago, she was a retail clerk for the Hutzler Brothers and Montgomery Ward. Surviving are her children Elma R. Fromm, W. Allen Fromm and wife Linda M., and James K. Fromm and wife Ginger; her grandchildren Ryan Fromm, Bethany Bullard, and Tori Fromm; her great-grandchildren Patrick, Grant, and Davis. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m., Friday, June 24, 2016 at the Woodlawn Cemetery, 2130 Woodlawn Drive, Woodlawn (21207). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Fromm's name to the Carroll Hospice, 292 Stoner Avenue, Westminster, MD 21157.
