Laura Lee Saunders Burke age 47 of Manchester, MD formally of Finksburg died Monday May 19, 2014 at the Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster, MD.
Born May 24, 1966 in Tacoma, Washington she was the daughter of Rebecca Dougherty Saunders of Manchester and the late Melton Saunders, Sr.
She was the wife of 21 years to William (Bill) Carl Burke, Jr.
She was a housewife and one of her passions was singing karaoke. She was a member of the McSherrystown Moose, Westminster American Legion, Westminster VFW, and the Littlestown Eagles.
Surviving in addition to her mother and husband are son: William (Boog) Carl Burke III of Manchester, MD, brother: Melton T. (Ted) Saunders, Jr. and wife Kristen of Manchester, MD and a niece: Kathryn Grace Saunders of Manchester, MD.
She was predeceased by her grandmother: Leona M. Dougherty.
A memorial gathering will be held from 3-5pm. Thursday May 22, 2014 at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD.
Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral chapel to help with final expenses.
