Lewis C. Bowman, Jr., age 68, of Glyndon, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at his home. Born May 10, 1947 in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of the late Lewis C. Bowman, Sr. and Emma Baldessari Bowman Howland.
He was survived by his son Lewis C. "Michael" Bowman, III, his godson Blake Ian Dudley; his aunt Mary Dahl of Pittsburgh, PA, his uncle Sylvio Baldessari of Wexford, PA; his brother Bill Bowman and his wife Merrilyn of Fayetteville, NC; his sisters Nancy Vargo and her life partner Barbara Reed of Battle Creek, MI, and Janet McCracken and her companion David Haid of Pittsburgh, PA; his two dearest and closest friends Karen Baird and Frances L. Miner; and also survived by his seven cousins.
The family will receive friends 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 23, 2015 until time of the memorial service, 11 a.m. at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Mid Atlantic Horse Rescue.org. Online condolences may be offered at www.eckhardtfuneralchapel.com.
