Lewis Franklin Reinhardt, 81, of Owings Mills died Wednesday, May 14, 2008, at Long View Nursing Home in Manchester.
Born Dec. 29, 1926, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Oscar Monroe Reinhardt and Nettie Pearl Simmons Reinhardt. He was husband of the late Dorothy Gertrude Reinhardt, his wife of 30 years; and the late Charlotte Hundertmark Reinhardt, his wife of nine years.
He was veteran of the Navy during World War II. He enjoyed camping on the Eastern Shore and dancing.
Surviving are daughters Rose Nettie Clegg of Keymar and Dottie Ann Rhoten of Hampstead; sons Michael Lee Reinhardt of Finksburg and Lewis "Ron" Reinhardt of Stewartstown, Pa.; a sister, Hilda Gill of Owings Mills; brothers Richard Reinhardt of Baltimore and Clarence Reinhardt of Chase; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at noon Friday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills. Interment will be in Poplar Grove Cemetery in Cockeysville.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral chapel.
