Linda Lou Cook

Linda Lou Cook, 67, of Finksburg, MD, passed away on Monday, September 9, 2024, at her home.  Born on September 2, 1957, in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Fred Smith and Lillie Bolling Smith.  She was the beloved wife of Robert Lee Cook, Jr.

Surviving her in addition to her husband are children: Michael Hoshall of North Carolina, Heather Diggins of New Oxford, PA, Angie Sartori of Hanover, PA, grandchildren: Jordan, Regan, Charlie, Payton, Liam, and a great-grandson: Ryder.  She is also survived by her siblings: Betty Hooper of Westminster, MD, Helen Ayres of Manchester, MD, Lois Hooper of Eldersburg, MD, Charolette Esworthy of Westminster, MD, Janice Hoshall of Finksburg, MD, and Jimmie Smith of Nassawadox, VA.

The family will receive visitors on Thursday, September 12, 2024 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD, where a funeral service will be held at 8 pm, with Pastor Rodney Gross officiating.

Interment is private.
