Linda L. Newman

Linda L. Newman, 66 of Hampstead, MD. passed peacefully, Saturday March 3,2018 at the Carroll Hospice Dove House in Westminster, MD. Born Jan. 9, 1952 in Millers, she was the daughter of the late Maurice and Mary Kaltrider Miller. She was the wife of the late John Jay Newman who died in 2016.

She was a former Executive Secretary for EMR and years ago, she worked at Black & Decker. Linda was an active member of Manchester Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time shopping and time spent with her children, grandchildren and beloved dogs, Dolly and Toby.

Surviving Linda, are her children, Charles "Chip" Cramer Jr. of Hampstead, MD., Douglas Cramer and wife Tasha of Manchester, MD; stepchildren John Newman and wife Leslie of York, SC. and Tammy Fenwick and husband Neil of Savage, MD; siblings George Miller and wife Mary Ellen of Manchester, MD and Ralph Miller and wife Sue of Manchester, MD. She is also survived by grandchildren, Zebadiah and Jessica Cramer, Kayla and Ethan Newman and Hailey and Owen Fenwick and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the Manchester Baptist Church, 2933 Manchester Baptist Church Rd., Manchester, MD. 21102 on Wednesday March 7, 2018 from 10am. until time of funeral service at 11:00am. The Rev. Dr. David Scafide will officiate. Interment will follow in the New Lutheran Cemetery, Manchester, MD.
