Lisa Ann Petrik, 52, of Sykesville, MD, passed away on Monday, June 27, 2022 at her residence. Born on September 2, 1969, in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of Richard Edward Balcer and Wanda Vera McDaniel Balcer.

Lisa worked as an analyst for the National Institute of Health.

Surviving her in addition to her parents is a son: Hunter Petrik, and siblings: Daniel Balcer and wife Valerie, and Barbara Wolinski and husband Michael. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Lisa was predeceased by her son: Blake Petrik.

A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, July 8, from 5-7 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD 21102, with a Prayer Service to begin at 6:30 pm.

Interment is private.
