Loleta Catherine "Pip" Whitcomb, 81, of Reisterstown died Monday, June 3, 2013 at Northwest Hospital Center in Randallstown.
Born August 5, 1931 in Baltimore, she was daughter of the late Norman L. Pipkin and Ethel Wallace Pickett. She was the wife of Kenneth Gordon Whitcomb, her husband of 59 years, who died May 17, 2008.
She was liked by anyone she encountered and was a people person who enjoyed her work in the restaurant industry. She enjoyed spending time with her cat Charlie.
Surviving are her children Stephen Charles Whitcomb and wife Susan, Vicki Lynn Kriner and partner John Thompson, Kim Diana Cooper and partner Tom Cox, Scott Craig Whitcomb and wife Chun Nam, and Fabian Michon Whitcomb; her 7 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills where a funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday.
Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Park, Sykesville.
