Lorraine Joan Miller, 86, of Manchester died Monday January 10, 2011 at her residence.
Born November 2, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Edward Meredith and Della Presnell. She was the wife of William Steve Miller, her husband of 62 years.
She was a 1943 graduate of Oak Hill High School in West Virginia. She was a house wife and enjoyed being with her family. She was also a member of Manchester Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her sons William S. Miller, Jr. and Robert P. Miller both of Manchester, sister in law: Romaine Presnell of Easton, MD. and brother in law: Daniel F. Miller of Palm Coast, Florida.
She was predeceased by her brother Edward M. Presnell and her sister Opal Presnell.
The family will receive friends 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 am. Thursday at the Manchester Baptist Church, 2933 Manchester Baptist Church Road, Manchester with Pastor Dave Scafide officiating.
Interment will be in the Manchester Baptist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 1850 York Road, Suite D, Timonium, MD 21093 or to the Manchester Baptist Church, 2933 Manchester Baptist Church Road, Manchester, MD 21102.
