Louis Victor Manno

Louis Victor Manno, 95, of Reisterstown, MD, passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at Northwest Hospital in Randallstown, MD. Born on September 25, 1926, in Wilmington, DE, he was the son of the late Dominick and Lena Scarano Manno. He was the beloved husband of the late Joan Patricia Burnham Manno, who passed away in 2021.

Lou was a self-employed automobile dealer. He was a veteran of the US Army Air Corps. He had many passions in life, cooking, gardening, taking care of his koi pond. He was an avid sports fan but his love for Thoroughbred horse racing was his true passion. He was a member of the Catholic War Veterans and a longtime member of Sacred Heart Parrish.

Surviving him are children: Victoria A. Thanner and husband John G. of Bel Air, MD, Cynthia L. Starr and husband Daniel W. of Reisterstown, MD, and Louis D. Manno of Reisterstown, MD, grandchildren: Kristie M. Tinney and husband Chris, Louis D. Manno, Jr. and wife Elizabeth and their mother Betty G. Manno, Michael G. Thanner, Nicole E. Davis and husband Dylan, and Jessica L. Starr, step-grandchild: Daniel A. Starr, and 5 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Louis was preceded in death by 7 of his siblings. He was survived by many nephews and nieces.

The family will receive visitors on Friday, January 7, from 3-5 and 7-9 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, MD 21117. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 8, at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 63 Sacred Heart Lane, Glyndon, MD 21071.

Interment is private.
