Louis Kenneth Recklein

Louis Kenneth Recklein, 86, of Reisterstown, MD, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2019, at his son's residence. Born on October 15, 1932, he was the son of the late Louis Cassard and Gladys Recklein. He was the beloved husband of the late Joan LaVern Recklein.

Years ago, Louis worked in Communications for C&P Bell Atlantic.  He also served in the United States Navy. He loved horse racing and spending time with his family.

Surviving him are children: LuAnn Yaffe and husband Robert, Kenneth Louis Recklein, and Keith Recklein and wife Penny, son in law: Charles F. Matthew, grandchildren: Robbie, Krista, Eric, Ashley, and Matthew, great grandchildren: Devan, Bryce, Ashlyn, and Scarlett.

He was predeceased by a daughter: Christine Matthews, and a brother: Robert Anthony Recklein.

The family will receive visitors on Thursday, June 20, from 3-5 and 7-9 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A. 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, MD 21117. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2019. The funeral procession will meet at the funeral home at 9:45 am and proceed to the interment in Meadowridge Memorial Park, 7250 Washington Blvd, Elkridge, MD 21075.
