Louise Ellen Smith

Louise "Lil Bit" Ellen Smith, 79, of Hampstead, MD, passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster, MD. Born on May 12, 1945, in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Leroy and Doris Ellen Myers Smith.

Louise worked for 48 years at Long View Healthcare Center. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and St. Mark's Lutheran Church - Snydersburg, where she served on numerous committees. She enjoyed going to the North Carroll Senior Center and playing Bingo. Louise loved animals and her cat, Pepper. She was a very giving person with a big heart.

Surviving her is her brother: Larry Leroy Smith and wife Fran of Hampstead, MD.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, June 30, at 8 am at St. Mark's Lutheran Church – Snydersburg, 1616 Cape Horn Road, Hampstead, MD, 21074.
