Luther Robert Fleming

Luther R. Fleming, age 94 of Hanover, PA. formerly of Manchester, MD died Saturday Jan. 2 2016 at the Village at Utz Terrace in Hanover, PA.
Born Sept. 11, 1921 in Hampstead, MD. he was the son of the late Robert Brown and Myrle Estelle Leister Fleming. He was the husband of the late Estelle Buchanan Fleming who died in 2014.
He was a farmer, a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Manchester and the Maryland Farm Bureau.
Surviving are his sons, Ronald Fleming of Manchester, MD., Robert Fleming and wife Michele of Upperco, MD., and Russell Fleming of Hampstead, MD. Brother, George A. Fleming and wife Marion of Hampstead, MD. Grandchildren Joyce Cook, Lori Muller both of Manchester, MD., and Jaime Hanson of Littlestown, PA. Great grandchildren, Michelle, Daniel and Christopher Cook and Samantha and Kody Muller and a nephew, Thomas Buchanan.
He as predeceased by daughters in law, Brenda and Martha Fleming.
Funeral services will be held at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A. 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD. on Wednesday at 10:00am.
Interment will be in the New Lutheran Cemetery, Manchester, MD.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 3-5 and 7-9pm. at the funeral chapel.
