M. Janet Gerkin age 64 of Finksburg, MD. died Thursday Sept. 29, 2011 at the Carroll Hospice Dove House in Westminster, MD.
Born Nov. 14, 1946 she was the daughter of the late Russell and Louise Bostic Singleton. She was the wife of Donald Gerkin.
Surviving in addition to her husband is a daughter: Cynthia Smith and husband Gregg , Sr. stepchildren: Donald Gerkin, Jr. and wife Heather and Donald Bradshaw and wife Christine, brothers: Rick and wife Sheila Singleton and Roger and wife Mary Anne Singleton , grandchildren: Paige and Gregg Smith,Jr. , Donald Bradshaw, Jr. and Violet Gerkin. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by siblings: Karen Schiefer and Meredith Singleton.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 9:30am until the time of funeral service at 11:00am at the Northwest Baptist Church, 300 Westminster Rd. Reisterstown, MD. with Pastor Gary Glanville officiating.
Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Finksburg, MD.
