Mabel Lee Filbert Nowlin, 86, of Sykesville died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2008, at Northwest Hospital Center in Randallstown.
Born March 14, 1921, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Charles Levi and Gertrude Struder Filbert. She was the wife of Robert Raymond Nowlin, her husband of 42 years, who died in 1995.
She worked as a waitress and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Surviving are son and daughter-in-law Howard W. and Ginny Jones of Sykesville; grandchildren Ryan and Amanda Jones; and two great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, with the Rev. Louis Piel officiating. Interment will be in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery in Owings Mills.
The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until the time of service Friday at the funeral chapel.
