Margaret E. Burden, 77, of Reisterstown died Friday, July 4, 2008 at her home.
She was born on September 22, 1930 in Baltimore and was the daughter of the late George Brown and Gertrude Casto Brown. She was the wife of the late Herman Jack Burden, who died in 1991.
She was a homemaker and was a loving and caring person to all who knew her.
Surviving her are her sons and daughters in law Michael and Kim Burden of Hampstead and Raymond and Pat Burden of Reisterstown; her grandsons Daniel Burden, Bradley Burden, Clifford Burden, and Benjamin Burden; her granddaughter Anna Burden; her brother James Brown of San Antonio, TX; also survived by many friends and neighbors.
A funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills with the Rev. Timothy P. Feaser of Trinity Lutheran Church officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Finksburg.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
