Margaret G. Owings, 88 years old of Westminster, died Thursday, November 27, 2008 at the Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster.
Born June 23, 1920 in Maryland, she was the daughter of the late James Robert and Fannie Bell Slarp Elseroad. Her husband, the late Sheldon Shipley Owings, Sr. passed away in 2001.
She is survived by her children, Sharon Tegler of Severna Park, Sheldon S. Owings of Westminster and Barbara Owings of Eldersburg.
Also survived by 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Sister of Ann Mathias of Westminster.
She was predeceased by 2 grandchildren, a brother and a sister.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel P.A. 11605 Reisterstown Rd. Owings Mills. Rev. Dr. Clarence L. Roark officiating.
Interment in Sandymount United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Monday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. at the funeral home.
