Margaret Doris Jenkins age 92 of Hanover, PA. formally of Owings Mills, MD. died Monday May 16, 2011 at the Hanover General Hospital in Hanover, PA.
Born Jan. 21, 1919 in Baltimore, MD. she was the daughter of the late Edgar Ellwood and Ella Marie Garrish Bartell. She was the wife of the late Earl L. Jenkins who died in 1966.
She was a retired secretary for Matterhorn Insurance Agency. She was also a member of the Eastern Star and Grace Bible Church in Manchester, MD.
She is survived by her daughter: Loretta (Tootie) Donaldson of Hanover, PA. , daughter in law: Bunnie Lee Jenkins of Berlin, MD. Grandchildren: Ginger and husband Jim, Susan and husband Mark, Doug and wife Mary, Butch and wife Kris, granddaughter in law: Cricket, Robin and Mandy.
She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.
She is predeceased by son: Earl Lawrence Jenkins, son in law: William H. Donaldson III, Grandson: Johnny Jenkins and siblings Katherine Seymore and Edgar Ellwood Bartell.
Funeral services will be held at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel P.A. 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD. on Thursday at 10:00am. with the Rev. Paul Wenzel officiating.
Interment will be in Lakeview Memorial Park, Sykesville, MD.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 3-5 and 7-9pm. at the funeral chapel.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Grace Bible Church, 3250 Charmil Drive, Manchester, Md 21102 or to Asera Care Hospice, 44 Bowland Rd. York, PA. 17408.
