Margaret Tuten Libertini

Margaret Elizabeth Tuten Whitman Libertini, 75 of Manchester, MD, passed away peacefully, Saturday June 3, 2017. Born Dec. 17, 1941 in Washington, NC, she was the daughter of the late Alice Jones and Henry Tuten, Jr. She was the wife of the late Louis Joseph Libertini who died Dec. 17, 2008.

Marge volunteered for American Red Cross Disaster Services and Blood Services for over 25 years. She also volunteered in schools, was host mother to many exchange students, and took her rescue dogs to visit residents at local nursing homes. She was an active member of both the Order of the Daughters of the King (DOK) and All Saints Episcopal in Hanover.

She is survived by her children Cathleen Livingston, Zoe Whitman, Tom Whitman, Elizabeth Grove and husband Edward, Melissa Libertini, and Marjie Libertini. She is also survived by her grandchildren Benjamin, Walter, Skye, Ezra, and Chelsea, and great-grandchildren Arwen, Devin, and Jaden.

A memorial service will be held at All Saints Episcopal Church, 890 McCosh St, Hanover, PA 17331 (717-637-5772), on Monday, June 12, at 11:00 AM. Private interment will be held in NC at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Endowment Fund of the DOK, 101 Weatherstone Drive, #870, Woodstock, GA 30188.
