Margaret Virginia Koppen Myerly, 91, of Manchester died April 27, 2011 at the Dove House in Westminster.
Born May 11, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Koppen and Mamie Wink Koppen. She was the wife of the late Paul Monroe Myerly, her husband of 54 years, who died April 3, 1993.
She was a member Greenmount United Methodist Church and the Manchester Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.
Years ago, she had worked at the Manchester Uniform Factory as a seamstress. She volunteered at the Brethren Center in New Windsor.
In her spare time she enjoyed sewing and crocheting.
Surviving are her children and spouses Linda C. and Francis J. Funk of Hanover and Kenneth M. and Deborah L. Myerly of Berkeley Springs, WV; her sister Lu Raine Miller of Hampstead; her grandchildren Karen, Jeffrey, Todd, Wendie, Kimberly, and Michelle; her 12 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her sister Iris Bryant and her brother Ernest Koppen.
The family will receive friends 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester where a funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Patricia Dols officiating.
Interment will be in the Greenmount United Methodist Church Cemetery in Greenmount.
