Margaret Ann Owings

Margaret Ann Owings, 82, of Reisterstown, MD, passed away on Friday, April 1, 2022, at Sun Valley Assisted Living in Westminster, MD. Born on July 1, 1939, in Amherst, VA, she was the daughter of the late King David and Zora Branham Lawless. She was the beloved wife of the late James Clayton Owings, who passed away in 2006.

Margaret enjoyed reading, traveling, and spending time with her family.

Surviving her are children: Cathy Guthridge and husband Bob of New Windsor, MD, April Glanville and former son-in-law Larry Glanville of Caledonia, NY, Nancy Scholz and husband Joe of Dayton, MD, and Jamie Kelley and husband Paul of Granite, MD, grandchildren: Nicole, Michael, Jill, and Isabelle, great-grandchildren: Eli and Isaac, brothers: Robert Lawless of New Market, MD, and Douglas Lawless of Westminster, MD, and she also had a special love for Billie Porter, Allen, Abbie, and Danielle. She was also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her son: James Dennis "J.D." Owings, grandson: Malcolm Kelley, and siblings: David Lawless, Jr., George Lawless, Ray Lawless, and Dorothy Whitcombe.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at 11 am at Mt. Gilead Cemetery, Reisterstown, MD.
