Margaret Joan Post

Margaret Joan Post, 85, of Catonsville, MD, passed away on Wednesday, July 9, 2025.  She was born on August 22, 1939, in Crawford, WV.

Margaret graduated from Walkersville High School and attended Glenville College. Her greatest joys were spending time with her grandchildren and cooking (Travis loved her pepperoni rolls).

She is survived by her daughter: Leigh Ann Brown, and grandchildren: Travis H. Brown and Jessica A. Brown, and great-grandchildren: Matilda and Casper Hayes.

She was preceded in death by her husband: David Linn Post, and her parents: Ernestine and Samuel Sprigg.

The family will receive visitors on Monday, July 14, from 10-11 am, at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, MD, where a funeral service will begin at 11 am.

Interment will take place on Wednesday, July 16, at 11 am, in Mitchell Cemetery of Roanoke, WV.
