Margaret Theresa Provini

Margaret Theresa Provini, 92, formerly of Parkville, MD, passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2018, at home with her family by her side. Born on February 12, 1926, in Cleveland, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Theresa Kaldchi Strichko. She was the wife of the late Dominick Provini, who passed away on June 5, 1992.

Margaret had several hobbies which included swimming, horseback riding, painting by numbers, drawing, watching TV, and shopping. She had a passion for reading, singing, cooking, listening to music, sewing, and learning history. Margaret was a member of Saint Ursula's Choir, the American Legion Auxiliary, and AARP. She was also a volunteer with the Red Cross.

She is survived by her loving daughter Stephanie Currey, her daughter-in-law Ginny Reed-Provini, her son-in-law Richard Currey, her grandchildren Michelle Currey Gumm, Jeffrey Provini Jr., Jessica Provini, her step grandchild Heather Germershausen, great grandchildren, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was predeceased by her son Jeffrey J. Provini.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 10, 2018, at 10 am at Saint Bartholomew's Catholic Church, 2930 Hanover Pike, Manchester, MD. Inurnment to follow at Gardens of Faith Memorial Gardens, Baltimore, MD.
