Margaret Juanita "Peg" Tracey, 82, of Hanover, PA died Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis.
Born June 2, 1928 in Taneytown, she was the daughter of the late Louis Kelbaugh and Marie Miller Kelbaugh. She was the wife of the late Edward Franklin Tracey, Sr., who died in 2004.
She was a member of Bixlers United Methodist Church. Years ago, she was a secretary for Maryland Public Television.
In her spare time she enjoyed bowling and dancing at the Westminster Moose. She loved taking care of animals.
Surviving are her children Donna L. Barr of Aberdeen, Sandra L. Bowman of Manchester, Debra L. Loeffler of Hampstead, and Edward F. Tracey, Jr. of Severna Park; her sisters Edith Little of Westminster, Thelma Noyes of Reisterstown, and Mildred Scroggs of Rockville; a brother Albert Kelbaugh of Westminster; her eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her grandson Charles Bowman and her siblings Hazel Sprinkle, Bootsy Miller, and Tonney Kelbaugh.
The family will receive friends 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester where a funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Jeffrey Odom officiating.
Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Finksburg.
