Margaret D. Warner

Margaret D. Warner, 81, of Reisterstown, MD, passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2020, at her home. Born on November 5, 1938, in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late John Guthrie and Gertrude Martin Dunbar. She was the beloved wife of over 55 years to the late Douglas R. Warner, Jr.

Margaret worked as a realtor and sold real estate in Reisterstown and Carroll County for many years. A faithful parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, she was a member since 1965. She loved baking, was a master seamstress, and had a love for animals. She doted on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving her are children: Mary G. Eccleston and husband Joe, Douglas R. Warner, III, and wife Debbie, Frederick Martin Warner and wife Sandra, George Andrew Warner and wife Jackie, and Margaret T. Hansen and husband Karl, 16 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and a brother: John Dunbar and wife Gloria.

The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, February 18, from 3-5 and 7-9 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, MD 21117. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, February 19, at 10 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 65 Sacred Heart Lane, Glyndon, MD 21071. Interment to follow in All Saints Cemetery, Reisterstown, MD.
