Margie Marie Shirley

Margie Marie Shirley, 88, of Pikesville, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, May 4, 2016. Born August 23, 1927 in Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Charles Briggs and Violet Clark Briggs. She was the wife Charles Raymond Shirley, who passed away May 5, 2016. Years ago, she was a restaurant manager for the Hecht Company. Surviving are her children Sandra Holtz and husband George, and Calvin Brown and wife Donna; her step children Donna Hughes and husband Don, and Mark Shirley and wife Doe; her 11 grandchildren; her 8 great grand-children; and was predeceased by her 2 brothers and 2 sisters. The family will receive friends 10 a.m. Monday, May 9, 2016 at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills until the funeral service begins at 11 a.m. Interment will be private.
